Wolverinas Basketball
Brooke Blumenfeld
2022 - Glenbrook North High School
2026 - Northern Illinois University

I fell in love with basketball at a very young age and can’t remember a time in my life that I did not have a basketball in my hands. I am at my happiest when playing basketball, so it’s not a surprise that my dream is to play at the next level in the NCAA.
Playing for the Wolverinas is a great experience and has prepared me to be a more versatile player. My teammates are talented and have helped me improve my game. I hope to continue to get better every year.
During my second year as a varsity starter for Glenbrook North High School (“GBN”), my years of focus started to pay off. Averaging 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, I helped GBN win the most games in the program since 1993. We also reached the IHSA Regionals, which hadn’t been done since 1999. I was honored to be named MVP of this season (2019-20). I can’t wait to see what we can achieve next year.
I continue to work every day on my speed, agility, ball-handling, and shooting. My hopes are to continue to improve every year so I can help a team win an NCAA championship.
