Basketball. A sport that I have played since kindergarten but loved my entire life. After experimenting with multiple different sports such as gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, tennis, golf, and dance from a young age it has been clear that basketball is truly the sport for me. The energy that this sport brings to my everyday life is something that keeps me going each day. Coming from a basketball background with my dad playing in college, I’ve been able to learn so many things about the sport and put my competitive personality to work. I absolutely love being a part of a team and leading it with my vocal high energy on offense and defense.

My aspirations include playing at a high collegiate level and getting an education that allows me to continue pursuing my dreams and loving what I do. I just started my freshman year at Benet Academy in Lisle, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me both in high school basketball and AAU with the Wolverinas.  I believe my work ethic and skill set that I have worked so hard to develop will help me to continue to excel on the court and build my confidence, teamwork, and love for the game of basketball.

Below are some of my individual and team highlights over the past few years:

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Barb Blumenschein Faculty Award-citizenship, leadership, and service given to 3/350+ graduating middle school students

  • Just started high school so nothing to report yet!

BASKETBALL ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 5 time USJN all-star selection in various AAU tournaments

  • Named top shooter at the Midwest Elite 90 Showcase in Chicago

  • Led my 15U AAU team this past season in assists per game (2), steals per game (1.8), blocks per game (1.1), and third in points per game
